This spring Kearny Street Workshop invites you to explore through performance, drawing, and writing the little-known histories and back alleyways that make up the South of Market, a uniquely San Franciscan neighborhood, at a critical juncture of its present and future. As part of Kearny Street’s programming series Auto(SOMA)tic, a free, 6-session drawing workshop will be held at SOMArts and taught by artist Jenifer K. Wofford.

The drawing workshop is co-presented by SOMArts as part of its Studio Series— hands-on classes and workshops offered by resident organizations who take a self-sustaining approach to building community and providing resources, access and education around a particular craft or media.
