Visual art opening features three film screenings, informal chats with former Albany bulb residents, participating artists, and other experts about the Bulb, and curbside tours of the LavaMae bus, a project of the Tides Center that provides mobile showers for the homeless in re-purposed SF MUNI busses
On Friday, January 30th enjoy free performances among the visual art in Glamorgeddon and circle the city of San Francisco in a garish pink limousine while enjoying one (or more!) of an array of ticketed 30-minute performative lectures.
Glamorgeddon: The Spectacle brings together visual and performance artists in a critical response and free-form celebration of the concept of glamour. The opening night spectacle on Thursday, January 8, 6–9pm, features live music and over-the-top performances, as well as limited-edition, artist-created swag.
