Kearny Street Workshop presents:
APAture: A Window on the Art of Young Asian Pacific Americans

A two-week, multidisciplinary arts festival, Kearny Street Workshop's APAture presents, examines and discusses the work of emerging, Bay Area, APA artists between the ages of 18 and 35. Each year, through APAture, Kearny Street Workshop is able to present over 100 new and working regional artists in APAture's five disciplinary categories: visual, literary, performing, musical/sound, and projection arts. The event comprises a two-week gallery exhibition, an artist/community panel discussion, an evening of film and video screenings, an evening of performances and readings, and the main event: a twelve-hour Saturday expo with performances, readings, music, exhibitions, demonstrations, and artists' booths. Featured Artists: Sabina Chen, Russell Reza-Khaliq (Gonzaga), Raj Kahlon, Neela Moorty, Teatro Ng Tanan, Stuart Gaffney
