patio area on a seating unit. Go to the double doors on the side of the building
to report for your tour. Tours should leave on time but please prepare some
activity plans to fill in a short waiting period.
Your Tour of "The City of Miracles":
A docent will come to the patio area and bring your group into the Lobby Area.
There will be a safe storage cart into which you may put coats and packs. Your
Docent will guide your group through a media display that gives a far ranging
background to 'Day of the Dead" celebrations. This part of our display
will explore the broader cultural framework into which our mortality is set.
From there the tour will proceed through site specific installations into "The
City of Miracles'. Inside the city various artists will furnish a school house,
a museum, a library, a store and other establishments with offerings and invocations
to the other world. In these establishments students are encouraged to make
their own contributions to the displays. In the plaza out side of the city there
