The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. Originally a Pagan tradition, it is a time when people gather around the fire to find comfort in human contact and storytelling. The Winter Solstice is a time of community, compassion, transcendence of the spirit and reconnection with the Earth. The Passage pays tribute to this powerful event through an evocative combination of exhilarating dance-theater, Butoh, music, solo improvisation, acapella singing, and aerial dance in an evening of spiritual passage.
