Pangs Theater Ensemble was founded in 2003 with the primary goals of bringing quality theater to the stage and reigniting the passion for theater in the modern world. We have been influenced by great artists and writers of our century and from the past.
We have chosen the staging of Woyzeck in our genesis because of its power and meaningful commentary on humanity. Though written over a century ago, Woyzeck is compelling in the modern world because it portrays the struggle and abuse endured by the less fortunate and its tragic consequences.
