LAST PLANET THEATRE presents
Ursula: Fear of the Estuary

by Howard Barker

Terrified nuns. Hair. Shame and shamelessness. The physical reality of words. Bird calls. Sex. Ursula has a cast of nine virgins, a lying mother superior, a blind vagrant who sees and one tempting male who likes to swim.

The Bay Area premiere of a recent play by one of Britain's greatest and most controversial living playwrights and the creator of "The Theatre of Catastrophe." Rated R In Barker's own words, the Theatre of Catastrophe "insists on the limits of tolerance as its territory. It inhabits the area of maximum risk, both to the imagination and invention of its author, and to the comfort of its audience. It commands the loyalty and attention of those for whom the raucous repetition of social platitudes of both left and right appear as aridities." Oh. This play contains violence, obscenity, and male nudity
