the Recreation Center for the Handicapped

VSA Arts, a National organization with over fifty years experience promoting awareness of persons with disabilities through the arts, hosts its second San Francisco event drawing from the City's vast and diverse talents.
Dance groups, poets and visual artists with and without disabilities will gather for an opening reception (April 17th) and day long festival (April 27th) filled with visual art, workshops and performances. The festival, titled "Pathways," promised to bring together very different lives all of which share the common goal of creative expression and inclusion in one's community.
Some of the artists and performers slated to appear include: Theatre Unlimited, DAMO, Youth Enterprise in the Arts, Art Production Center, Positive Art, The international Mouth and Foot Painters, Lighthouse for the Blind, Project Opportunity and Urban Arts.
