Mike Connor - Painting The Labor Battles Mike Connor, a union electrician has painted some of the most critical labor struggles in America. His labor paintings portray the battles working people have faced in building their unions and struggles from the 8 hour day to defending a union hiring hall.

Joe Blum - Working Iron from San Francisco to Shanghai Labor Process Photographer Joe Blum recently returned from China where he captured the tempo of the Chinese working class. He was with the construction crews as they built the cranes that are now being installed in the bay area. Blum, a retired member of San Francisco Boilermakers Local 6 and the most important labor process photographer on the West Coast.
