Maryam
Kazerroni
will bring her new work about 32 PRIZMA COLOR PENCILS on paper. Her images
are soft evocations of the Butterfly form, sometimes in flight and others
at rest on the petals of a flower. Her colors are very delicate shades
of strong reds and blacks, ocras and blues, and many times giving the
impression of patterns on silk material from the Orient. Maryam is originally
from Iran and her art displays the force of an image that breaks out into
fascinating elements on the paper.
Annie
Bilder
will show her new paintings which are very colorful compositions and many
of them are actually constructions made of wood, burlap, heavy paper and
acrylic paint. She lives close to the Bay so her art is very much influenced
by the ripple reflection in the water. The transparency of her color compositions
are very dynamic as they run through the frontal plane of the paintings.
The mixed media that she uses allowed her to show her ability in producing
a variety of work and subject matter.
