In one packed week the SF Bay Area community will be treated to APAture: A Window on the Art of Young Asian Pacific Americans, a unique event showcasing our up and coming local Asian Pacific American (APA) talent. An annual multidisciplinary arts expo featuring the work of Bay Area APA artists ages 18-35, APAture features a gallery opening, an evening of films, a night of integrated performances and culminates in a 12-hour expo of visual, performing, musical, and literary arts from over 100 artists. Already in the line-up are visual artist Michael Arcega, filmmaker Anita Chang, fusion dj collective Dhamaal, choreographer/dancer Lenora Lee, writer/director/comic Michael Premsrirat, and comic book artist Jason Shiga. A multidimensional and unforgettable experience, KSW's APAture runs the gamut of artistic disciplines.
