VISUAL
AID'S 9TH ANNUAL 'BIG DEAL' ART SALE AND EXHIBITION
The
9th Annual BIG DEAL features:
·
Affordable art sale - More than 500 pieces of artwork by Bay Area
artists to be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at a
fixed price of $100 plus tax.
· Silent auction - Thirteen pieces donated from the some of
the region's top artists will be sold to the highest bidder via
silent auction.
"Big
Deal is a wildly popular annual art event featuring over 500
works of art," stated Julie Blankenship, Executive Director of
Visual
Aid. "Although every year a few art lovers camp out the night
before
to secure their place in line for best access to the art sale,
latecomers will have hundreds of fabulous artworks to choose from!"
All
proceeds from the event benefit Visual Aid's programs for artists
with life-threatening illnesses. Programs sponsored by Visual Aid
include an art supply voucher program, art materials bank, exhibition
opportunities, career development, and a workshops and lecture series.
Affordable

include Bruce Conner, David Cannon Dashiell, Charles Gute, Anne
