physical and psychological. 'Bound' together by intention and use of natural
materials, these two artists work intersect in the realm of emotional

Marin
Art Council grant recipient, Daniel McCormick's watershed sculptures
will be seen in SomArts gallery setting before they are installed in
the Olema Valley at Point Reyes National Seashore where they become
silt traps, and erosion control devises for damaged gullies and stream
banks. McCormick's large-scale works are sculptural art forms, and act
as effective assistants in the restoration of watershed ecosystems.

Jacqueline
Mallegni's introspective sculpture imbibe a sense of involvement with
one's interior environment. Using natural materials along with illumination
and Japanese handmade paper, Mallegni's sculpture speak of the expanse
of past, present and future.
