The United States of Asian
America arts festival showcases
music, dance, drama, art, comedy & more by Bay Area Asian Pacific Islander
artists. The festival is presented each year by the Asian Pacific Islander

See the FULL CIRCLE art exhibit (May 5 – 29), featuring the
works of Bay Area artists/activists Betty Nobue Kano and Nancy Hom.
Also, May 5 – 29, Pirated: a post asian perspective, a group
exhibition exploring the concept of piracy and its impact on culture, power,
and the immigrant identity, from an Asian Pacific American perspective.
Opening reception: Thurs., May 5 from 5-8 p.m.

the comedy of 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors from May 19-22. Their A
PEOPLE’S HISTORY OF SUKIPRATA is described as irreverent, controversial and
completely out of control.

festival benefits the non-profit arts organizations that are participating in the
festival.
