Free as a Bird is Sixth Street Photography Workshop's eighth annual exhibition of photography. The theme is the exhibition of freedom - freedom from social and economic constraints that inhibit creativity and freedom of the spirit.

Free as a Bird features individual portfolio projects by workshop members and portraiture done at the Marlton Manor, a senior and disabled residential hotel in the Tenderloin.

Sixth Street Photography Workshop shares the art and skill of photography with adults living below the poverty line.
