KSW's 6th annual APAture is nearly upon us. opening night, tuesday,
september 14th, is less than a week away, and features the work of  29
visual artists including featured artist Kana Tanaka. the following night,
wednesday, september 15th, we take a look back at past APAture greats Stuart
Gaffney, Jane Chen, Pireeni Sundaralingam, Truong Tran, and SUZ Takeda at
our Endless Glory restrospective and benefit. then it's Film & Video Night
on september 23, Literary and Performance Night on september 24, and the
Main Event on september 25th. full details are available at

On Tuesday, September 14th, Kearny Street Workshop kicks off APAture, a
unique event showcasing emerging Bay Area Asian Pacific American (APA)
talent, the only festival of its kind in the nation, and the second largest
APA arts event in the Bay Area. APAture features over 100 artists with a
gallery opening, an evening of films, a night of integrated performances and
12-hour finale of visual, performing, musical, and literary arts. A
multidimensional and unforgettable experience, KSW's APAture runs the gamut
of artistic disciplines.

8th and 9th Streets San Francisco

Kearny Street Workshop (KSW) is a San Francisco-based multidisciplinary
arts organization serving the Bay Area's Asian Pacific American communities.
The mission of Kearny Street Workshop is to produce and
present art that enriches and empowers Asian Pacific American  communities.
Our vision is to achieve a more just society by  connecting Asian Pacific
American (APA) artists with community members to give voice to our cultural,
historical, and contemporary issues.
