In each of us there exists a place where stimulation of our senses elicits an erotic response: The Pleasure Zone. Under the right circumstances any sensory event-- sights, sounds, scents, tastes, and touch?can be sexually
exciting when interpreted erotically by the greatest sense organ for sexual arousal, the brain. The variations in how and what we interpret as erotic are, of course, one of the features that make each of us unique.
Within the context of safe, sane and, if partnered, consensual erotic practices, exploration within the Pleasure Zone can lead to fuller, richer erotic experiences.

San Francisco Sex Information is a local not-for-profit in it's 35th year of service. We are a human sexuality Education and Information organization that provides free, accurate, anonymous, nonjudgmental sex information and referral over our national phone switchboard and our world wide web site.
