“FROM ISOLATION TO CONNECTION: AN EXHIBITION BY ADULTS LIVING WITH PSYCHIATRIC DISABILITIES”

This exhibition comes from Bonita House and the Creative Living Center in Berkeley, whose art programs are offered to those who have significant mental health problems. The Creative Living Center provides a range of socialization and rehabilitation services, and this exhibition will showcase the results. The images are strong and profound, making visible some of the forces felt in the normal psyche, but able to be expressed deeply by those who live daily with pain and fear. It is a courageous exhibition, and SomArts is pleased to collaborate in presenting it.
