The Flaming Lotus Girls, a San Francisco based female-driven art collective, is hosting an art show to help raise funds to support the installation of “Soma,” a stainless steel sculpture illuminated with interactive LEDs at Pier 14.

The show will feature over 50 high-quality original pieces, including framed photographic prints, metal transfers, and small-scale models from various artists including Tristan Savatier and Scott London. The art will be sold via silent auction, and the proceeds will help fund Soma’s public installation on the waterfront of San Francisco. Music will be provided by Ambient Mafia & drinks will be available all night.

The Flaming Lotus Girls are a female-driven, volunteer-based group of artists who have been making kinetic, mechanical fire art since 2000. Their work is a collaborative process through an open and supportive cultural environment, promoting creativity, education, volunteer contribution and leadership opportunities.
