The News

The News is a monthly offering of performance featuring new queer work. On the first Tuesday of each month The News casts a spotlight on performance pieces, experiments, debut works, and works in progress by pre-selected solo artists, groups, or troupes. An informal session for critical feedback follows the performances.

Artists of any performance discipline or skill level can perform at The News. Artists interested in performing should fill out this Artist Survey. Questions can be directed to Kolmel WithLove at thenews@somarts.org.

The News takes place on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30-9pm. Tickets are $5, and advance tickets are recommended as space is limited.
