Do you like hot bands, cold beer and the warm glow of giving to a good cause? If so, we hope you will join us for the first-ever SOMArts Summer Shindig—an urban garden party, silent auction and fundraiser. We all know San Francisco is known for the Summer of Love: make it a SOMA of Love on July 20, 3–6pm and gather in the sunshine to support one of the city’s most essential cultural institutions.

Tickets by donation to the Summer Shindig ($25 & up) include:

— Complimentary food from Fuki and a cocktail
— Live music by Little Sister, GAYmous and Miss Prick!
— Free advance ticket to the annual Day of the Dead exhibition opening celebration in October or monthly queer performance series The News (up to $12 value)
— An opportunity to mix and mingle with the extended SOMArts family, a colorful community of artists, activists, changemakers and risk takers

The Summer Shindig silent auction highlights San Francisco’s favorite things: food, bikes and dogs, all donated by artists and local businesses who support SOMArts. We’ll also announce our Volunteer of the Year, so you can high-five the special person who has contributed more than 75 hours of top-notch volunteerism at SOMArts events over the past few months.

Able to give more than $25 in support of SOMArts? We’re eternally grateful and eager to love you back:
