Bay Area Video Coalition is introducing Transmission, a community-focused program that will air on SF Commons Public Access channel 76 and stream live on the web! This new public arts and storytelling program is funded by the City of San Francisco and curated by the Bay Area Video Coalition. It champions the pioneering work of community arts organizations, and aspires to preserve and promote the colorful, authentic voices of the city.
SOMArts is thrilled to have segments from last month’s edition of The News, presented in partnership with Queer Cultural Center, in the very first episode! Tune in to see the amazing sketches of National Queer Arts Festival preview performances, including Althea and the Graceland Girls from Pants, The Musical and Migueltzinta Cah Mai Solís Pino from Boomtown. You can catch the whole show on Cable Channel 76 this Friday, May 8 at 8pm, and the encore broadcast is on Monday, May 11 at 6:30pm; it will be available online shortly after. Check out the trailer:
