***For those of you concerned about weather, reports we’re reading now indicate that the high winds aren’t expected until after 10pm tonight. We plan to go forward with the event tonight as planned! Here’s a link to stay updated on the weather.***
Ubuntu: Everyone At the Table invites everyone to the table, including artists, curators, educators, political organizers and more, to generate ideas and inspire action that will nurture art and artists in the Bay Area. Each course of the 3-course meal prepared by The People’s Kitchen is served in the gallery among the art in the group exhibition Place/Displaced and begins with an activity to ignite creativity, communication and action.
There are 60 seats available for the dinner. Each person must register individually. Please only register if you are committed to attending–– once you register here, you hold one of these limited seats.
Prior to the meal, join a happy hour with drinks and snacks in conjunction with SOMArts, Emerging Arts Professionals SF/BA, Impact Hub Oakland, Political Action Committee and Ubuntu: Can Art Save a Community? from 5:30pm to 7pm.
