This annual event will rally cyclists from across the Bay Area who are in support of local bicycle culture and non-profit organizations alike. From 6pm–10pm, join San Francisco Yellow Bike Project (SFYBP) for educational, volunteer-run workshops, a community silent auction, custom screen prints painted live on your merchandise by Like Minded People, make-your-own custom buttons & spoke-cards, tasty bites from MamakSF, upbeat music, cold beverages sponsored by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and much more! From 10pm–12am, the SFYBP presents their first dance social featuring a special DJ performance, hot food by Apothocurious, cold beverages sponsored by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and did we say… dancing?
The SFYBP is a volunteer-powered community bike shop that transforms donated bicycles, parts, and other cycling resources into functional bikes for the SF Bay Area. 100% of Upcycle Ball proceeds raise funds to help fuel SFYBP workshops, educational events, and community outreach throughout the year.
