What: San Francisco Yellow Bike Project Presents 2nd Annual Upcycle Ball and Parts Drive

How Much: $7–30, click here for tickets on sale March 11, 2013 at 12pm; $10 tickets will be available at the door, or bring a complete bicycle (working or not) to donate for free entry on the night of the event

This annual event will rally cyclists from across the Bay Area who are in support of local bicycle culture and non-profit organizations alike. From 6pm–10pm, join San Francisco Yellow Bike Project (SFYBP) for educational, volunteer-run workshops, a community silent auction, custom screen prints painted live on your merchandise by Like Minded People, make-your-own custom buttons & spoke-cards, tasty bites from MamakSF, upbeat music, cold beverages sponsored by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and much more! From 10pm–12am, the SFYBP presents their first dance social featuring a special DJ performance, hot food by Apothocurious, cold beverages sponsored by Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, and did we say… dancing?

The SFYBP is a volunteer-powered community bike shop that transforms donated bicycles, parts, and other cycling resources into functional bikes for the SF Bay Area. 100% of Upcycle Ball proceeds raise funds to help fuel SFYBP workshops, educational events, and community outreach throughout the year.
